Setup and updates

Before you begin
  1. Download the archive for your operating system from your chosen download source.
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP into any folder you can write to.
  3. Open the launcher in the extracted folder: Hapisama.exe on Windows, or the executable .sh file on Linux.

Updating the game

To update, download and extract the new archive. Your saves will normally carry over.

Saves from before Beta ver.2.0 are not compatible with the scenario. To continue a saved game, check the update instructions on the download page.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install the game?

There is no installer. Extract the ZIP and play using the launcher in the folder.

Where can I find the controls?

Open “Help” from “Config” in the game to see the controls.

Will my saves carry over when I update?

Normally, yes. However, saves from before Beta ver.2.0 are not compatible with the scenario, so check the update instructions on the download page.

How do I uninstall the game or delete my saves?

To uninstall, delete the game folder. To delete save data, follow these steps.

Windows

  1. Press Win + R to open Run.
  2. Enter %AppData% to open the hidden folder.
  3. Find and delete the AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Hapisama-1719641554 folder.

macOS

  1. In the Finder menu bar, choose Go > Go to Folder, then enter ~/Library/RenPy to open it.
  2. Delete the Hapisama-1719641554 folder inside it.
